Sewing began as a hobby for me after a devastating house fire. While rebuilding my life and my home, my husband and I spent the last four months of our rebuild in a camper and decided to make the best of it by traveling across the United States. Little did I know at the time that I'd pair my love for sewing, traveling, and camping, and now I make a point of taking my sewing machine on road trips, and I sew on the road! It brings a unique element to my creations that people can purchase items created in some of the most beautiful and remote locations in the U.S. Interestingly, my travels, love of the outdoors, and my extremely environmentally-conscious children have influenced me to design products that are earth friendly - products that help people to reduce, reuse, recycle, and re-purpose as well as products that bring the joy of simple abundance to their lives.
